The American Medi-cal Association Chemical Laboratories analyz-ed these preparations, and reported that thepreparations give tests for ammonium, sodium,potassium and bromids, and that the bromidcontent is equivalent to gm. of potas-sium bromid per hundred The tabletswere found to contain emodin bearing (lax-ative) drugs—possibly aloes (Jour.
