Makhmour, Northern Iraq. 18th Aug, 2014. The head of the PUK local branch stands nearby a carpenter's workshop that has been burned down by ISIS militant in Makhmour. Makhmour is a town located 50 kilometers south of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Regional Government. Following an ISIS offensive, the town fell to the Caliphate on the 8th of August.
