A Navy aircraft launch officer ducks down to allow the wing of an F/A-18F Super Hornet to pass over him as the aircraft catapults from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) on March 28, 2007. The Stennis Carrier Strike Group and its embarked Carrier Air Wing 9 are conducting a dual-carrier exercise with the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group and Carrier Air Wing 7 in the Persian Gulf.
