Bassoon in C, ca. 1813–25, Paris, France, French, Maple, brass, Height: 50 3/8 in. ( cm), Aerophone-Reed Vibrated-double reed, Jean-Jacques Baumann (French, Paris 1772–1845 Paris), Keys by Felix (French, Paris flourished 1825–1830), The instrument has two alternative wing joints for high and low pitch, and a screw to adjust the bocal. The keys and metal parts were designed in 1813 and made by C. H. Felix in Paris, as an inscription states
