PAKTIKA PROVINCE, Afghanistan--A MAT-V from Task Force 3-66, 172nd Infantry Brigade basks in the early morning sun and freezing temperatures. Despite heavy snow and persistent winter weather, elements of Task Force 3-66, 172nd Infantry Brigade and their Afghan National Security Forces drove cross country through snow drifts as deep as four feet to reach a remote village in search of insurgent caches.
