Recruits of Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, perform the fireman’s carries during a combat fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, March 24. This is part of the maneuver under fire portion of the event, which simulates carrying a wounded individual in combat. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate April 15.
