The trans- verse rows of stigmata number thirteen to twenty-seven, according to the size of the zooid, and the rows lie in line with the long axis of the stalk. The anterior and posterior rows are shorter than the middle ones, and the shortest rows have less than twenty stigmata, whereas at least sixty are present in the longest. The endostyle (e) is conspicuous and strongly curved.
