Marines and Sailors with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit participated in a community relations event at the Sabah Cheshire Home in Sabah, Malaysia, Feb. 26, 2019. During the visit, the Marines and Sailors helped clean and renovate the facility by painting, clearing overgrown vegetation, and organizing storage space. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
