On Monday, August 2, 2021, NMCCL hosted Brig. Gen. Andrew Niebel, Commanding General of Marine Corps Installations-East, Col. Michael Jernigan, Chief of Staff for MCI-East, and Sgt. Maj. Robert M. Tellez, Sergeant Major of MCI-East. Brig. Gen. Niebel assumed his new position in June of 2021. During their visit, NMCCL’s leaders and staff were able to share the impact of their work upon Marines, Sailors, and their family members, as well as members of the local community. The USMC leaders toured the trauma bays, emergency department, labor and delivery, and the Intrepid Spirit Concuss
