Photographed in Winton, Queensland in 2025, adventurous 84 year old widow, Thelma Evans has been travelling Australia and living in her van since her husband died in 1988. In that time she has driven more than 400,000 kilometres. Her van was fitted out by her son who is a carpenter. She is content to travel and happy in her nomadic life. Thelma estimates she has travelled around and across Australia more than 3 times.
