Haverdal is a quintessentially small Swedish coastal town popular with Swedes in the summer months where they also own holiday homes. Unspoilt, it nestles in traditional Swedish countryside and enjoys remarkably warm summers despite its latitude (as far north as Aberdeen in Scotland). Warmth is funnelled from Easterly winds from the continent and temperatures regularly exceed 30C. The waters are calm and inviting reaching 25C on some days.
