On a circumnavigation of the Indonesian island of Sumatra, we visited West Sumatra Province, the home of the Minangkabau peoples, and attended a traditional wedding ceremony. This portrait of the wedding party shows the highly colorful decorations, and the bridge and groom and attendants all dressed in elaborate traditional costumes.
