Ancient Egyptian stele the female Meresimen worshiping Osiris and the 4 sons of Horus, 690-656 BC 25th dynasty, painted wood . The Louvre Museum inv N 4024 or CC 166. Adoration scene; woman standing, pleated dress, perfume cone, worshipping Osiris standing; the 4 sons of Horus (standing); offering table in the hanger; uraeus winged solar disk . Height: 31 cm; Width: 22 cm; Thickness: 3 cm. Sully room 323. Meresimen was daughter of Ounnefer and singer of the temple of Amun. The stele hyroglyphics read "offering that the king gives to Osiris, the head of the West, the great god, the lord of Abydos, so that he may grant an offering of breads, beers, live and poultry, epcens and oil, wine and milk, and all good things of which a god lives, in the new year, on the feast of the beginning of the year, on the feast of each month and on the feast of every fortnight, thus who has every feast of every day, for the singer of the residence of Amun, Meresimen, daughter of Ounnefer"
