This is St Aldate's. Formerly known as Fish Street (nice) this main road runs from Oxford Ring Road and Abingdon into the heart of you're wondering why there are so few cars, it's still very early in the On our right is the main gate to Christ Church College. You can also see its distinctive octagonal Tom Tower. Founded in 1525 by Thomas Wolsey, Lord Chancellor of England, Christ Church College is one of the oldest, richest and most aristocratic of the Oxford University Colleges.
