In its native home, the East Indies around Ceylon, the plant is very useful for its sap in the shape of a mildliquor. The stamens of the flower are very conspicuousand curious, growing in a pendant form downward fromthe receptacle, similar to a thick bunch of human hair, which, with seed, has no further value. 10 seeds, 30c;100
