Photo of a wild cactus (Stenocactus obvallatus) blooming in central Mexico
It is very difficult to spot these cacti as they are very small and are hidden among the grass. Even if cacti are adapted to grow in places were it doesn´t rain very often they need the protection of other plants to survive.
