Lichfield Street, Wolverhampton, c 1920s. Gresham Chambers (Nos 6-20) in Lichfield Street. Underneath are retail outlets (right to left): E. H. Suckling the florists, S. Phillips the pharmacy, Sketchley Dye Works, J. Coley, C. Webster (?) and James Baker and Sons Ltd, the shoe retailers. To the left can just be glimpsed the entrance to the Art Gallery. Note the Lorain passenger tram and the early motor cars.
