Zoological illustrations, or, Original figures and descriptions of new, rare, or interesting animals : selected chiefly from the classes of ornithology, entomology, and conchology, and arranged on the principles of Cuvier and other modern zoologists . under side of the female very closely resembles the upper, excepting that the black stripe on the lower wings is broken; PI. 91. and there are irregular blotches of white at the tips of bothwings, but no marginal spots, as represented by Cramer.
