More- over, both Large Hackensack and Extra Early Hacken- sack are faulty, from a shipper's point of view, in being weak and thin at extreme blossom end,—a fault from which The Long Island Beauty is entirely free. Altogether a splendid melon (when grown from pure seed) both for market and the home garden.
