Rosette Stamp Seal with Striding Lion ca. 1186–945 Late New Kingdom–Early Third Intermediate Period The back of the seal is decorated with star-shaped incisions forming a stylized rosette. A striding lion facing to the right is deeply incised on the underside. Two horizontal strokes may represent a corrupt version of the royal epithet neb tawy, "lord of the two lands." The type of domed seal, the schematic representation of the lion, the style in which the incisions are made, and the corrupt version of the title assign the seal to the late Ramesside period or to Dynasty Rosette Stamp
