A Map of the Parish of Tottenham in the County of, Middlesex from an Actual Survey. Artist/engraver/cartographer: Engraved by Robert Ewen Bowler & Edward George Triquet for Robinson's History of Tottenham. Provenance: "The History and Antiquities of the Parish of Tottenham in the County of Middlesex", by William Robinson. 2nd edition. London: Nicholls and Son, Parliament Street; W. Pickering, Chancery Lane; Hunnings, and G. Coventry, Tottenham. Type: Antique hand coloured engraved map. A detailed and highly decorative map of the Parish of Tottenham engraved by Bowler and Triquet in 1818 for the second edition of William Robinson's "History and Antiquities of the Parish of Tottenham", published in 1840. Original hand colour. All of the houses and other buildings are shown, and the area of every field is stated in units of acres, rods and perches (there are four rods per acre, and 40 perches per rod). The site of the White Hart Lane and Tottenham Hotspur stadia are still fields, on the corner of the High Road and Marsh Lane (since renamed Park Lane).
