Baroque facade of Loreta Church Prague Czech Republic eastern Europe
The Loreta Church was commissioned by Baroness Beligna Katherina Von Lobkowicz in 1626. After completion Loreta was maintained by the Capuchins an order connected with the St Francis of Assisi brotherhood. The baroque splendor of the church includes carved marble, wooden inlay, frescoes, scrollwork and angels decorated with gold leaf.
