McMAHON His great-grandfather, William McMahon, arrivedin America soon after the Revolutionary War, andhis grandfather, John V. L. McMahon, was a resi-dent of Baltimore, Maryland. His father is a well-known lawyer of Dayton. He attended the publicschools and the Deaver Collegiate Institute in hisnative city, and after graduating at Yale with theClass of 1889, he read law in his fathers office, andwas admitted to the Bar in 1S91. He has eversince been engaged in active practice and is thejunior member of the firm of McMahon & McMahon,Dayton. Mr. McMahon was a member of theDayton Public Library Board from 1893 to 1896;Secretary of the Dayton Club for the years 1893-1S96, and Chairman of its House Committee.
