The intricate arch over the main entrance to the Obrechtkerk Amsterdam Netherlands


The Obrechtkerk is the common name for the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid . The church is located at the Jacob Obrechtstraat. This neo-Romanesque cross basilica was built between 1908 and 1911 to a design by Jos Cuypers and Jan Stuyt . The design for the Obrechtkerk is in the Neo-Byzantine and Romanesque Revival style, the church faces east and is flanked by two tall towers, and with a lower crossing tower on the west side. WIKI
