SANTA RITA, Guam (Jan. 15, 2016) – Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Rear Adm. Hiroshi Ito disembarks the destroyer command ship JS Ise (DDH-182) for the start of an exercise off Guam's coastal waters. A total of seven Japanese ships (JS) of the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) pulled into the port of Apra Harbor, Naval Base Guam, today to conduct an exercise simply called Guam Exercise (GUAMEX).
