POPE ARMY AIRFIELD, — Airmen in the 43d Air Mobility Squadron Aerial Port tighten straps on a pallet of food at the Arrival and Departure Airfield Control Group here Sept. 27. Airmen in the 43d AMS loaded pallets of water and food, and assisted in loading a 45,000-pound generator on a C-5M Super Galaxy headed for San Juan, Puerto Rico, following the strike of Hurricane Maria. The generator will be used to supply power for air traffic control operations in Puerto Rico, ensuring the steady flow of relief supplies.
