View NW of the remains of a stone circle set in parkland SE of Penbedw Hall, Flintshire, Wales, UK: oak trees mark the positions of 6 stones removed for farm buildings. The monument is said to have had 11 stones making a true circle with a diameter of 98ft (). There is a standing stone to the W & a round barrow to the N. Apparently unmentioned before the C18th, unusually sited on a slope & in the view of a stately home, it is suspected of being a country estate folly.
