This conglomerate-like lamprophyre hasbeen observed at Cobalt and Kirkland lake. The granite and syenite are similar tothe occurrences in the townships to the east. Feldspar-porphyry occurs only as narrowdikes. In one of these dikes on Wolf lake gold-bearing veins have been found. There are rocks of the Cobalt series extending from Kenogami station westerly toKenogami lake. On the east shore of this lake there Is a minor unconformity in theCobalt series.
