A gold-inlaid Ottoman miquelet rifle, circa 1800 Lightly swamped octagonal barrel with a seven-groove rifled bore in 14 mm calibre. The entire top of the barrel is inlaid with gold floral ornamentation (spaces at the barrel rings) all the way to the muzzle. Gold-inlaid miquelet lock, replaced at the period the arm was in use. Maple full stock with a green bone nose cap. Numerous stamped openwork silver pieces are attached with nails to the butt stock and the lock area.
