Cant & Co., Bralswlck Rose Gardens,Colchester, set up a collection of Roses In pots, vases,and boxes, using Crimson Rambler and similar varie-ties for an effective backing ; Frau Karl Druschki wasfinely displayed in the form of standards ; Bridesmaid,Mme. Jean Dupuy, Perle des Jardins, and Mrs. EdwardMawley, were all noticed. Mr. Geo. Mount displayed a charming group ofRoses in his usual first-class style. Trays and vases ofcut flowers, and trained plants were all blended to-gether to complete a most effective display. CarolineTestout, Liberty, Mrs. John Laing and Catherine. G. SharmanCrawford, and Mrs. J. Laing, are but a few of thosenoticed. Among this fine exhibit Souvenir de PierreNotting and Maman Cochet were both doing well asstandards. Messrs. Benjn. R. Cant & Sons, Colchester, stagedRoses in pots, a prominent feature being the trainedsingle and polyantha varieties, including the BlushRambler and Austrian Yellow. Some dwarf-floweredhybrid perpetuals and hybrid Teas were also shownwell. A magnificent vase containing a Rugosa hybridConrad Ferdinand Meyer was set up by Leopold deRothsch
