CULTURE.—Blackberries will succeed on al- most any good fruit land, but to have the best results they should be grown on "second bot- ; They require the same treatment as recommended for raspberries, but in field cul- ture should be planted in rows 5 to 7 feet apart, and 3 feet in the rows ; in garden culture, plant. rows 5 feet apart and three feet in the row.
