Halarachnion ligulatum red alga. Grows on rock, stones, shells and maerl in the subtidal zone, occurring at depths of up to 17 metres. This species is widely distributed around the British Isles. These specimens were collected by Batters from Sidmouth, Devon, UK, in 1901.
