This work has stamped its author as the most exalted of our Castilian poetic prolific pen has gained him also the grateful appreciation of prose-readers by the production of the following works: "Christian Philosophic and Political Thoughts"; "Legends of America"; "The Virgin of Azucenas", a novel; "A Comparison between Isabella I. and Isabella ;; " The Story of a Grief-stricken Soul"; and "The Granddaughter of Kings".
