Jeremy Corbyn delivers a speech on the final day of the 2019 General Election Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn has been suspended from the party and has had the whip removed after his reaction to an anti-Semitism report. Labour suspended Mr Corbyn after an inquiry found the party responsible for "unlawful" harassment and discrimination when he was leader. However, Mr Corbyn said the scale of anti-Semitism within Labour had been "dramatically overstated". Labour then said it was suspending him for a "failure to retract" his remarks.
