221110-N-ML137-1025 KEKAHA, Hawai`i (Nov. 10, 2022) — Jamie Thomton, a Kaua`i marine mammal response field coordinator with the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, measures the depth of a sea turtle nest found on a beach, traditionally known as Kohomahana, on Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), Barking Sands. PMRF is the world’s largest instrumented multi-environment range capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air and space operations simultaneously.
