Flooding Winter Storm - Fargo, N. D. , March 14, 2009 The City will begin to build a clay flood wall down 2nd street to protect the city from the Red River. After a very heavy snow fall this winter the city of Fargo braces for a flood. The Red River is expected to reach 40 feet by next Saturday, March 28. Flood stage starts at 19 feet.
