Louis Tussaud, the great grandson of Marie Tussaud, opened a waxworks in Blackpool in 1900. The Louis Tussaud Waxworks moved to its location on Central Promenade in 1929. The waxworks closed in 2010, being re-opened and re-named as Madame Tussaud's by new owners, Merlin Entertainment Group, in 2011. A view from the beach, towards a full moon above images of Shrek, Helen Mirren, Alan Carr, Lady Gaga, Ant and Dec, Michael Jackson. Next to the waxworks stands the Funland Amusement Arcade.
