Incense cone, joss-stick, gold statue interior of the Kwun Yam Temple, with two Chinese ladies at prayer, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong
Kwun Yam (or Guanyin), the buddhist Goddess of Mercy, is widely worshipped in Hong Kong. The small, but vividly-coloured Kwun Yam Temple is situated south of Hollywood Road, in Sheung Wan, which retains a flavour of an older Hong Kong.
