Fonthill house Doylestown Pennsylvania. Western town and southern side.
South western tower of Fonthill house from south side. Four stories of arched windows to the top of the tower with section of two story windows joining tower to main house. Tower capped by red tile roof. Fonthill is a unique poured concrete house designed and built by Henry Mercer during the Art and Crafts movement. The house boasts 44 rooms 18 fireplaces 32 stairwells and more than 200 windows and was completed 1912. It is now a National Historic Landmark.
