These are absent over the nervules on the wing cases, and hence give this area a striped appearance. Spiracles, cream-pink. Cremaster, light, with numerous minute yellow hooks. The head, thorax and body are sparingly covered with long white hairs, many of which end in dark points. The pupa is illustrated on Plate 57, fig. B, and also on Plate 58. 219.
