A First World War German coastal artillery position near the entrance to the mole in Zeebrugge, Belgium, taken shortly after the end of the war. The battery saw action in the failed British raid on Zeebrugge on 23/04/1918 where they attempted to close the harbour to stop its use by German U-boats.
