Theodore “Tip” Hargrove, 316th Training Squadron honorary commander, shows Air Force Col. Jeffery Sorrell, 17th Training Wing Vice Commander, Col. Christopher Harris, 17th Mission Support Group Commander, Army Maj. Corey Gamble, 344th Military Intelligence Battalion executive officer, Navy Lt. Cmdr. Richard Cole’s Congressional Gold Medal at the Norma Brown building on Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, Oct. 25, 2016. Cole received the medal for his part in the Doolittle Raids and is donating it to the Citadel, South Carolina, to keep the history of the event alive.
