Bailiffs', Police and Lewisham Council Officials trying to repossess the protestor, occupied Lewisham Bridge Primary School

Bailiffs', Police and Lewisham Council Officials trying and failing to repossess the protestor, occupied Lewisham Bridge Primary School. Lewisham council plan to demolish this Victorian school and replace it with a new school for 3-16 year olds. Meaning that two new school, both upper and lower will be built on the same footprint as Lewisham Bridge now occupies. The Shool currently enjoys a large well designed play area which will be lost if the new schools are built. In addition it will be run by a private company called The Leathersellers' Company who already run two secondary school in Lewisham. The School is now Grade II-listed, and parents and teachers are fighting to preserve the school in its current form and prevent its privitisation.
