The material which is used for bedding, wouldhave been, one might suppose, the last thing to form the groundwork of ladiesfancy work, but the effect is excellent. Coarse colored netting silk and gold braidare all that is needed besides the ticking to embroider a pair of slippers which will ladies guide to needlework. 11 have the effect of Moorish work.
