Jami Masjid from East Porch with carved stone jalis, Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, Gujurat State, India

Jami Masjid (mosque) lies within the Campaner-Pavagadh Archeological Park, a UNESCO Heritage Site. It is one of the finest mosques in Western India, dating to the early 16th Century. It is notable for its blend of Hindu and Moslem architecture. This view, taken from inside the East Gate, with its carved stone jalis, shows the courtyard and the two story main facade of the mosque, and gives a good view of the two octagonal minarets that grace the main entrance.
