The marginal economic group made up 62 per cent of first admissions, and 77per cent of the first admissions discharged during the year. This economic groupcomprised 61 per cent of all deaths for the year, and made up 71 per cent of theresident population and 74 per cent of the patients out on September 30, , the marginal economic group shows a higher proportion of discharges thanof first admissions during the year. It also shows a high proportion in the residentpopulation and of patients out at the end of the year. The comfortable economic group made up 4 per cent of first admissions, 6 percent of first admissions discharged, 5 per cent of the deaths, and 5 per cent ofthe resident population and patients out.
