Canoeing on Loch Morlich, in Glen More, with reflections of the Cairngorms in the water. On the left is Cairngorm mountain with its ski centre. To its right are the cliffs in the glacial cirques of Coire an t-Sneachda and Coire an Lochain, known as the Northern Corries. The conical hill on the right is Airgiod-meall. Areas of the Scots pine forest on the far shore were formerly planted with blocks of non-native conifers. These areas have now been felled and are being allowed to regenerate naturally (2009)
