Original Edwardian era postcard of Conwy Castle and bridge, on the North Wales Coast Line, between Crewe and Holyhead, Circa 1905 / 1910.

CONWAY BRIDGE was built by Telford at the same time as the Menai Bridge, to be part of his general scheme for the improvement of the London-Holyhead road. The bridge has a span of 327 feet across the River Conway, Carnarvonshire. The bridge is adjacent to the ancient Conway Castle and the masonry was designed to harmonize with the style of the castle’s architecture. SourceL Wonders of World Engineering.
