The fishermen's boats are moored at a small harbour built by the inhabitants and the first occupants of the district. The fishermen's district of "La Pointe Courte" in Sete is the last authentic fishing port on the Etang de Thau, which is trying to preserve its history and resist the gentrification that has affected the whole region since the Covid crisis and the boom in teleworking for executives and freelancers.
