Staff Sgt. Thomas Pawlowski, presents a unit patch to Gen. Richard D. Clarke Jr., the commander of Special Operations Command, after a meeting at Union III forward operating base in Baghdad, Iraq, March 23, 2022. Clarke recognized Pawloski’s contributions to the mission during a visit by key leaders from Special Operations Command to the base. The purpose of the visit was to discuss continued USSOCOM support for and missions related to building regional security and stability and the enduring defeat of Daesh.
